High Availability
Downtime at any business translates into a loss in efficiency practices and money. At High Plains Technology, we implement techniques to ensure your planned downtime for upgrades and testing as well as your unplanned downtime is minimal.
Planning – For us to minimize your downtime, we first determine what your business' availability requirements are. We verify how much time you can afford to be down and how much data you can tolerate losing. if any.
Implementation – Once we determine what your business requirements are, we design a solution to address them. The services we provide include installation and configuration of the hardware, software and network infrastructure to support your business. We also lead the development of an operations "run book" to document daily operations and emergency cutover procedures in the the event of an outage. We also conduct user training and lead testing of simulated emergency cutover to validate the implementation.
Health Check – Upon completion of the implementation, we recommend performing regular switch.
