eBusiness Enablement
Enabling your business for a web interface is an excellent way to make your information sharing process even more seamless. We can show you how to modernize your application software look and functionality without buying new software or re-writing existing code. We will leverage your investment in your existing software and give it a more intuitive, modernized look, a face-lift that says "looks matter - and we look good!"
Web Enablement Proof of Concept – High Plains Technology will install an application with a web interface using WebSphere® Host Access Transformation Services (HATS) or the IBM Webfacing Tool. This is used to demonstrate the capability and feasibility of web-enabling an existing application. The service includes installing Websphere Application Server Express and the HATS software. Using HATS, the application is dynamically converted to a point-and-click GUI (Graphical User Interface) interface and further tailored per the client's requirements. Using the IBM Websphere Webfacing tool, a copy of the source code will be modified to produce the desired GUI interface.
HATS Implementation – HPT uses WebSphere HATS to quickly migrate applications to the Web. Host screens are dynamically converted to a point-and-click GUI and delivered as HTML to Web browsers, complete with graphics, logos, hot links, drop-down menus, and more. Beyond the standard screen translation, additional customization is added to meet specific customer requirements.
Webfacing Implementation – HPT uses the WebSphere Webfacing tool to make the existing applications available from wherever you need them with only a browser on the user end. Applications will then be able to run in a non-interactive state.
