EDI Implementation
Electronic Data Interchange acts as a conduit for purchase orders, shipping notices, invoices, etc., between two trading partners. This allows each business to continue to use their line of business applications and send or receive transactions with their trading partner in a standardized format.
We can help you get started from scratch (including the EDI software) or jump in mid-stream and support your changing requirements by modifying or adding new functionality to your existing EDI applications.
Develop EDI data maps - We will develop data maps to meet your requirements or those of your trading partner.
Enhance Line-of-Business applications to process EDI transactions - We will develop customize code to generate the EDI files from your line of business applications or receive EDI files from your trading partners.
Coordinate interface to VAN - We provide coordination between the two trading partners and the value-added network (VAN) provider. The VAN acts as a clearinghouse between the two businesses, providing the handoff from business one to business two.
Lead integration testing - Once the EDI is set up, we perform a test of the system to verify transactions can be successfully exchanged between business partners.
